Westacre Wilding

Westacre Estate has transformed approximately 1970 acres for a re-wilding programme which runs along the River Nar for 10 miles. Large herbivores have been introduced, closed canopy forests have been opened up, and around 250 ponds have been reinstated. The aim is to increase the biodiversity of the landscape and to create a large natural corridor for fauna and flora to flourish. To find out more about this rewilding project visit www.westacre.info.

Garlinda has been capturing the large animals and the wild areas in the rewilding project.

Garlinda's photographs Ghost I and Ghost II were exhibited at the Royal Academy's Summer Exhibition from September 2021 to January 2021.
