Garlinda Birkbeck

Westacre Estate has transformed approximately 1970 acres for a re-wilding programme which runs along the River Nar for 10 miles. Large herbivores have been introduced, closed canopy forests have been opened up, and around 250 ponds have been reinstated. The aim is to increase the biodiversity of the landscape and to create a large natural corridor for fauna and flora to flourish.
